With certifications including Registered Dental Assistant, X-Ray, CPR, Infection Control, HIPAA, Coronal Polish, and Pit and Fissure Sealant, Doug’s comprehensive skill set is unmatched.

He holds a Dental Assistant Diploma from Kaplan College in Vista, CA, and has extensive experience in various dental specialties including general dentistry, oral surgery, paediatric dentistry, and special needs patient care.

Doug's career spans over a decade, with notable positions at esteemed dental practices. His hands-on experience ranges from 4-handed dentistry, implant procedures, and emergency treatments, to laboratory skills like taking impressions and making same-day appliances.

Before joining our team, Doug served as the chief instructor at multiple dental assisting schools, including UEI, where he was recognized for his leadership and teaching excellence. His dedication to student success is evident in his nurturing and inclusive approach, ensuring no student is left behind. Doug’s time in the Marines instilled in him a profound sense of responsibility and a passion for helping others achieve their full potential.
